Matewa Media is promoting a nationwide call out to "Sponsor a Screening of Moana 2 Reo Māori”

This is a corporate challenge to all businesses, councils and individuals across the country to spread some Moana love!

Your support will enable all tamariki in Aotearoa to have a chance to see the magic of Moana 2 Reo Māori on the big screen. He kaupapa mō te reo, he kaupapa mō ngā tamariki!

This film will also be available with English subtitles so if you’re new to te reo Māori, kei te pai, we have you covered!

Moana 2 Reo Māori is more than just a movie. It’s a powerful way to reconnect tamariki and whānau with language and culture, while also providing opportunities for everyone in Aotearoa to be immersed in this magical Pasifika tale.

  • Sponsorship funds the cost of the cinema hire, so communities can watch the film for free.

  • The cost of sponsoring a screening can vary depending on the size and scale of the event. Private cinema bookings can range from a minimum of $500 and upwards depending on cinema size and location.

  • Yes! But it will have to be at a cinema as this is the only way Moana 2 Reo Māori is able to be played.

  • Screenings start on Thursday 28th November 2024, and bookings are available across Aotearoa now!

  • Yes, in select theatres.
